About Nde Nkimbeng - The Engineer MC
Nde Nkimbeng, also known as "The Engineer MC," is an accomplished event emcee, public speaker, and mentor with a unique blend of technical expertise and dynamic stage presence. With over 150 events hosted across 5 countries, Nde has built a reputation for creating unforgettable experiences at weddings, corporate events, galas, and prestigious engineering and tech conferences. His ability to captivate audiences, seamlessly connect ideas, and showcase innovation has made him the go-to emcee for organizations looking to elevate their events.
A graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Industrial Engineering, Nde later earned his MBA from Indiana University Kelley School of Business. He combines his deep understanding of engineering with his passion for communication, helping engineers and tech professionals amplify their impact through improved public speaking and leadership skills. Nde’s career highlights include hosting a distinguished three-day engineering conference and helping the African Community Education Gala in Worcester raise $9 million.
Nde’s drive for excellence is rooted in his personal experiences, including overcoming fear and self-doubt to become a confident and skilled communicator. His dedication to uplifting others resulted in mentorship roles during his university years as the president of both the Black Student Union and the African Student Association, and this passion continues to shape his work today.
Beyond the stage, Nde is an active member of the National Speakers Association (NSA), National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), and Meeting Professionals International (MPI). He has also received recognition as a Regional Toastmasters Speech Contest Winner. Outside his professional endeavors, Nde enjoys basketball, fitness, and supporting non-profit organizations. He is deeply committed to building inclusive communities and inspiring others to achieve their goals
